We make Space of Space products from metal – aluminium, stainless steel or steel. We choose the material according to the function and use of each product. For example, Astro trays are made of aluminium, which is light and gains its strength and rigidity from the design itself. For Bolid stools, on the other hand, we use steel for a solid and stable construction that is also suitable for outdoor use.

Most smaller Space of Space products can be washed in a dishwasher, but for a longer lifespan we recommend washing by hand with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, solvents or other harsh chemicals. Do not leave the products standing in water for long periods and protect their surface from sharp objects.

They are part of the manufacturing process. During powder coating, each product has to be earthed so that the powder paint can be applied electrostatically to its surface. We naturally work the hanging holes into the design of every product as a reference to how it was made.

We can apply a logo or graphic to most of our products – whether it is a simple name or a more complex graphic. We use two techniques: laser engraving or screen printing. Both techniques have their own specifics, and we always choose the most suitable solution together with the customer.

Custom manufacturing is not the main focus of Space of Space, but for interesting projects we are happy to develop a new product design together. Our collaboration with Eska, for example, gave rise to the Naos cutlery stands and the Naos 02 number stands. For the catering company Zátiší we designed the Wave 05 steps with a base, and our collaboration with the Kitchen at Prague Castle set the development of the Naos magnetic menu holders in motion.

An idea for a product can come up at a meeting with a client or while waiting for a green light in the car. Development and execution is a more layered process that includes prototyping, testing and processing feedback. That is why the journey from the first design to the final product can take up to 1.5 years.

Based on our agreement and all the necessary information, we will prepare an individual quote. Once it is approved, we start production.

As part of B2B cooperation, we offer custom colour finishes. We offer a wide range of colours – we will help you choose the right shade and, if needed, we can order an A5 colour sample, which we will send to you or go through together at a meeting.

A custom colour comes at an extra charge and can be ordered from a certain quantity by agreement. The same conditions apply to services related to colour selection and sampling.

For B2B clients, we produce anything from a few pieces to large series of thousands. The only thing we need to agree on is the time it will take us.

For products in a custom colour or size, the standard delivery time is 4–6 weeks. The date may vary depending on the type of customisation and current production capacity. Apart from the summer company-wide production shutdown, however, we normally deliver within this time.
